Privacy Policy
ProTrack Golf is a driving-range companion for golfers. The short version: everything you enter stays on your phone, and we never see it.
What the app stores
The app stores only what you type or choose inside it:
- Practice sessions — date, the range you practised at, bucket size, the clubs you hit, the distance of each shot, and any notes you write.
- My Bag — the clubs you carry and the distance you enter for each.
- Locations — the names of the ranges you practise at.
- Photos and videos — if you attach media to a session, the app copies the file you picked into its own private storage.
All of this is saved in the app's private storage on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
What the app does not do
- It has no user accounts and no sign-in.
- It makes no network connections. There is no server, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising SDK.
- It requests no Android or iOS permissions. Choosing a photo or video uses the system picker, which shares only the single file you select.
- It does not read your location, contacts, or anything outside its own storage.
Device backup
On Android, the app allows the standard Android backup service to include its data in your device backup, so your sessions and clubs survive a move to a new phone. That backup is managed by your Google account under Google's own privacy terms; ProTrack Golf does not have access to it. You can turn device backup off in your phone's Settings.
Deleting your data
You can delete any session, club or location inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from the device (a device backup, if you have one, is cleared by the system according to your backup settings).
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting or transmitting data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
